Cassien - Wedding & Function Band

I’ve been playing with Cassien for most of 2018, crafting our setlist and developing our niche, and we recently (though not so recently that this blog post isn’t well behind schedule) joined the roster of Hire-a-Band, complete with a new website and video, and have since played our first wedding up in Fort Augustus.

Playing with Cassien so far has been brilliant practice for me as a bassist (not to mention a vocalist), as function band playlists are typically a history lesson in popular music from the 60s to the current day, and ours is no exception, so I look forward to bringing the experience I’ve gained to even more musical projects in 2019. (I might even get around to doing another bass video or transcription eventually).
